SUPERPAN STAR is a special type of SUPERPAN — it is a wood composite material that combines MDF (medium density fiberboard) in the middle and chipboard (DSP) in the top layers.

This provides better screw retention, greater rigidity and, at the same time, a smooth surface for finishing, similar to MDF.

SuperPan Star was developed in collaboration with the chemical company BASF, and its core is “infused with a polymer product”; the top layer consists of wood fibers (MDF-type layers), and the core consists of wood chips (or wood particles) + synthetic polymer/additive.
