Standard MDF
MDF (medium density fiberboard) is made from composite materials.
MDF boards have a high surface layer density and are used to make high-quality furniture and interior design items.
Standard MDF is a medium density fiberboard, which has high mechanical strength.
Both sides of the board are perfectly smooth and matte. This material is well suited for veneering, painting, varnishing, laminating and pasting with decorative PVC film - with a small primer and layers of paint, an excellent surface can be obtained.
MDF is made from wood waste - specifically fibers, which are glued together using heat, resin or pressure.
It is characterized by evenness, resistance to deformation and a smooth structure, which makes it an excellent material, for example, for sawing, where, unlike other materials, very smooth edges are obtained. The boards have a minimal reaction to high humidity levels.
Thanks to these properties, MDF is a universal product and is used not only in furniture production, but also in almost all areas of construction.
